1). The 8th Plague







The 8th Plague is the debut full-length album of the Spanish extreme metal act Hybrid (after the release of their previous EP Beyond Undeniable Entropy) which features eight songs linked by an apocalyptic conceptual thread that represents human self-destruction told through the stages of an insect’s metamorphosis.

The album was recorded between June and July 2007 at Sadman Studio (One Last Word, Icvts, Adrift) in Madrid by Carlos Santos and mastered by Alan Douches (Suffocation, Mastodon) at West West Side Music (New York). Artwork is courtesy of Seldon Hunt (Neurosis, Isis, Melvins).

The album was released on August 8, 2008 through London-based label Eye Sofsound (Behold...  The    Arctopus, Dysrhythmia, Yakuza).

13 Eerie is a 2013 Canadian horror film directed by Lowell Dean, making his feature film debut. It is also produced by Don Carmody, Kevin DeWalt, Mark Montague and David Cormican and written by Christian Piers Betley. The film stars Katharine Isabelle, Michael Shanks, Brendan Fehr, Brendan Fletcher, Nick Moran and Jesse Moss. It entails the story about six Forensic undergrads completing a university field exam on a deserted island, oblivious that the island was previously used for illegal biological experiments on life-term prisoners.

The film is a Canadian production produced by Don Carmody Productions and Minds Eye Entertainment.

3). 28 Days Later


28 Days Later is a 2002 British post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Danny Boyle, written by Alex Garland, and starring Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris, Christopher Eccleston, Megan Burns, and Brendan  Gleeson. The plot depicts the breakdown of society following the accidental release of a highly contagious virus and focuses upon the struggle of four survivors (Murphy, Harris, Burns, and Gleeson) to cope with the destruction of the life they once knew while evading those infected by the virus.

The film received critical acclaim. Many praised the performances, screenplay, atmosphere, and soundtrack. The film is credited with reinvigorating the Zombie genre of horror film, as well as increasing the popularity of fast-moving zombies (while Dan O'Bannon's 1985 film The return of the living dead featured the first example of "fast zombies" in cinema, the concept was largely neglected in media until after the release of 28 Days Later). It was also a financial success, grossing more than $82.7 million worldwide on its modest budget of $8 million and becoming one of the most profitable horror films of 2002.

It was followed by a 2007 sequel, 28 Weeks Later, a graphic novel titled 28 Days Later: The Aftermathwhich expands on the timeline of the outbreak, and a 2009 comic book series titled 28 Days Later. 4). 28 Weeks Later


28 Weeks Later is a 2007 horror film directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who co-wrote it with Rowan  Joffe, Enrique López-Lavigne, and Jesus Olmo. A sequel to the 2002 film 28 Days Later, it stars Robert  Carlyle, Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner, Harold Perrineau, Catherine McCormack, Imogen Poots, and Idris Elba. It is set after the events of the first film, depicting the efforts of NATO military forces to salvage a safe zone in London, the consequence of two young siblings breaking protocol to find their infected mother, and the resulting reintroduction of the Rage Virus to the safe zone.

28 Weeks Later was released on 11 May 2007, by 20th Century Fox in the United Kingdom and by Fox  Atomic in the United States. 5). Abraham lincoln vs. Zombies


Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies is a 2012 American action comedy horror B movie directed by Richard Schenkman, with a screenplay by Schenkman based upon the story concept of Karl Hirsch and Lauren Proctor. Produced by The Asylum, and starring Bill Oberst Jr., the film was released direct-to-video on May 29, 2012, following its May 28 theatrical premiere screening at the Telfair Museum of  Art Jepson Center in Savannah, Georgia.

In the tradition of The Asylum's catalog, the film is a mockbuster of the 20th Century Fox film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

5). After Sundown
After Sundown is a 2006 American horror-western film directed by Christopher Abram and Michael W. Brown, written by Abram, and starring Susana Gibb, Reece Rios, Natalie Jones, and co-directors Brown and Abram and produced and executive produced by Keith Randal Duncan. The plot is about a vampire gunslinger from the Old West who terrorizes a modern-day town when his bride is revived.
After a female corpse in perfect condition is exhumed, two funeral home employees remove a wooden stake from it. The corpse instantly revives and reveals itself as a vampire. Sensing the return of his bride, the vampire who created her, an Old West gunslinger, comes to the town and begins to turn the people into zombies that serve his will.

6). Alien Dead

Alien Dead is an American horror film directed by Fred Olen Ray. Ray co-wrote the script with Martin Nicholas. The film involves a meteor hitting a houseboat, which causes the people on board to become zombies who eat alligators and eventually people.

The film was one of the last films featuring actor Buster Crabbe among a cast of unknowns. It was filmed in 1980 and released to home video in 1985. Reviews from Variety, Kim Newman and other retrospective horror guides have been negative, noting low budget and bad acting.

A meteor strikes a houseboat in the swamps near a southern town, which causes the people on the houseboat to become zombies. When the zombies run out of alligators to eat, they begin killing people in the town. A local scientist tries to figure out how to stop the zombies.

The film went direct-to-video in 1985. The film has been released on VHS by both Academy Home Entertainment and Genesis Home Video with an 87-minute running time.

#Alive (Korean: #살아있다; RR: #Saraitda) is a 2020 South Korean zombie film directed by Cho Il-hyung. Starring Yoo Ah-in and Park Shin-hye, it is based on the 2019 script Alone by Matt Naylor, who co-adapted his script with Cho. The film revolves around a video game live streamer's struggle for survival as he is forced to stay alone at his apartment in Seoul during a zombie apocalypse. It was released in South Korea on June 24, 2020, and globally via Netflix on September 8, 2020.\

The Amazing Adventures of the Living Corpse is a 2012 American animated 3D horror film directed by Justin Paul Ritter, written by Ritter and Ryan Plato, and starring Michael Villar as an intelligent zombie who seeks to protect his son. It is based on The Living Corpse Exhumed, a comic book by Ken Haeser and Buz Hasson.

As a zombie apocalypse begins, a group of zombies attack the residents in a house. When the family recognizes one of the zombies as a family member, the zombie is shocked back to his senses and decides to protect his family.

The Amazing Adventures of the Living Corpse premiered at the 2012 San Diego Comic Con. Four days later, it was picked up for distribution by Anchor Bay Entertainment. Director Ritter delayed the release of the film several times so that he could fix issues with it. It was released on home video on June 18, 2013.

10). American Zombie

American Zombie is a 2007 American mockumentary horror film directed by Grace Lee, written by Rebecca Sonnenshine and Lee, and starring Lee and John Solomon as documentary filmmakers who investigate a fictional subculture of real-life zombies living in Los Angeles.

American Zombie premiered at Slamdance Film Festival on January 18, 2007. It also screened at SXSW and Sitges Film Festival On March 28, 2008, it got a limited theatrical release. To publicize the release, Lee and members of the cast recreated artistic elements of the show, including a zombie art showing and zines. It was released on DVD on July 8, 2008. American Zombie is the first English-language film distributed by iHQ.
