1). The 8th Plague
The 8th Plague is the debut full-length album of the Spanish extreme metal act Hybrid (after the release of their previous EP Beyond Undeniable Entropy) which features eight songs linked by an apocalyptic conceptual thread that represents human self-destruction told through the stages of an insect’s metamorphosis.
The album was recorded between June and July 2007 at Sadman Studio (One Last Word, Icvts, Adrift) in Madrid by Carlos Santos and mastered by Alan Douches (Suffocation, Mastodon) at West West Side Music (New York). Artwork is courtesy of Seldon Hunt (Neurosis, Isis, Melvins).
The album was released on August 8, 2008 through London-based label Eye Sofsound (Behold... The Arctopus, Dysrhythmia, Yakuza).

28 Days Later is a 2002 British post-apocalyptic horror film directed by Danny Boyle, written by Alex Garland, and starring Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris, Christopher Eccleston, Megan Burns, and Brendan Gleeson. The plot depicts the breakdown of society following the accidental release of a highly contagious virus and focuses upon the struggle of four survivors (Murphy, Harris, Burns, and Gleeson) to cope with the destruction of the life they once knew while evading those infected by the virus.
The film received critical acclaim. Many praised the performances, screenplay, atmosphere, and soundtrack. The film is credited with reinvigorating the Zombie genre of horror film, as well as increasing the popularity of fast-moving zombies (while Dan O'Bannon's 1985 film The return of the living dead featured the first example of "fast zombies" in cinema, the concept was largely neglected in media until after the release of 28 Days Later). It was also a financial success, grossing more than $82.7 million worldwide on its modest budget of $8 million and becoming one of the most profitable horror films of 2002.
It was followed by a 2007 sequel, 28 Weeks Later, a graphic novel titled 28 Days Later: The Aftermath, which expands on the timeline of the outbreak, and a 2009 comic book series titled 28 Days Later. In 2017 a poll of 150 actors, directors, writers, producers and critics for Time Out magazine ranked it the 97th best British film ever.

28 Weeks Later is a 2007 horror film directed by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who co-wrote it with Rowan Joffe, Enrique López-Lavigne, and Jesus Olmo. A sequel to the 2002 film 28 Days Later, it stars Robert Carlyle, Rose Byrne, Jeremy Renner, Harold Perrineau, Catherine McCormack, Imogen Poots, and Idris Elba. It is set after the events of the first film, depicting the efforts of NATO military forces to salvage a safe zone in London, the consequence of two young siblings breaking protocol to find their infected mother, and the resulting reintroduction of the Rage Virus to the safe zone.
28 Weeks Later was released on 11 May 2007, by 20th Century Fox in the United Kingdom and by Fox Atomic in the United States. Like its predecessor, the film received positive reviews from critics, with many praising the performances, atmosphere, and screenplay. It grossed $64 million against a $15 million budget.

Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies is a 2012 American action comedy horror B movie directed by Richard Schenkman, with a screenplay by Schenkman based upon the story concept of Karl Hirsch and Lauren Proctor. Produced by The Asylum, and starring Bill Oberst Jr., the film was released direct-to-video on May 29, 2012, following its May 28 theatrical premiere screening at the Telfair Museum of Art Jepson Center in Savannah, Georgia.
In the tradition of The Asylum's catalog, the film is a mockbuster of the 20th Century Fox film Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.

Alien Dead is an American horror film directed by Fred Olen Ray. Ray co-wrote the script with Martin Nicholas. The film involves a meteor hitting a houseboat, which causes the people on board to become zombies who eat alligators and eventually people.
The film was one of the last films featuring actor Buster Crabbe among a cast of unknowns. It was filmed in 1980 and released to home video in 1985. Reviews from Variety, Kim Newman and other retrospective horror guides have been negative, noting low budget and bad acting.
A meteor strikes a houseboat in the swamps near a southern town, which causes the people on the houseboat to become zombies. When the zombies run out of alligators to eat, they begin killing people in the town. A local scientist tries to figure out how to stop the zombies.
All Souls Day, or All Souls Day: Dia de los Muertos, is a 2005 zombie film written by Mark A. Altman and directed by Jeremy Kasten. It premiered at the 2005 Slamdance Film Festival, and the Sci Fi Channel played it on June 11, 2005. There is also an uncut version on DVD.
